protective styles

I've been wearing protective styles for a little over 6 months now. That includes box braids, the outré vanessa half wig I wore for about 2 months and my self made U- Part wig. Wearing wigs are a very convenient way for me to protect my hair but at the same time I am able to take care of it , as opposed to having a sew-in or weave. Though I have to admit that I was a bit apprehensive about the idea of wearing wigs , since this was actually my first time ever I had purchased one.

Update 2012

I have totally abandoned this blog and thought i would have a new, fresh start . So this is basically me now(2 years later) wearing my natural hair out, after having had protective styles for about 6 months.
